I love pathology for the intellectual challenge and the depth and breadth of experiences that we receive on a day-to-day basis. I also enjoy the role of being an expert consultant to other clinicians and colleagues in helping them provide the best patient care.
Outside interests: Nutrition & low-carbohydrate dieting, exercise and fitness, computers, geology, music, art, church, spending time with friends and family
Hobbies: marathon running, long distance cycling, dining out, cooking, sketching, photography, traveling/sightseeing, being outdoors, leisure reading outside of my profession
Favorite things about San Antonio: San Antonio is a medium-sized large city which offers a variety of places to go and things to do (especially the surrounding hill country), while having an overall smaller-town feel. The people are generally friendly wherever one would go.
