Laboratory Overview
The UT Health San Antonio Clinical Laboratory began services in 1974 as the laboratory for the UT Health San Antonio MD Anderson Cancer Center, formerly Cancer Therapy and Research Center. In March 2017, the Clinical Laboratory expanded its clinical and research services and became the primary laboratory for all UT Health Physicians. This network now includes providing laboratory services for UT Health San Antonio MD Anderson Cancer Center, Medical Arts and Research Center, and all six UT Health Physicians Primary Care locations. The UT Health San Antonio Clinical Laboratory is an integral part of patient care, academia, and research within the UT Health San Antonio system.
