Description of Research
As program director for University Hospital's School of Cytotechnology my primary
activities center on curriculum development, teaching and testing for that program.
Teaching sets developed for this program have been incorporated into workshops on GYN
Cytology for the 1990's and Fine Needle Aspiration Cytology. A research project on pap
smear adequacy and proficiency testing as it applies to CLIA 88 has resulted in workshops
and speaking invitations. Development of computer assisted teaching aids are ongoing
projects.
