Description of Research
My research is largely that of a collaborating statistician in basic and other research
projects at the Health Science Center, including departmental, clinical, and funded
research. The statistical research I am doing relates to the efficient uses of statistics,
design of studies, and determination of the sample size for the appropriate questions of
interest in research studies. This involves many different statistical methodologies and
the theory that accompanies them, including agreement statistics, regression,
generalizability, categorical analysis, analysis of variance, and logistic regression.
