Dr. Olson is a professor in the Department of Pathology at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. He is Director of Clinical Laboratories for the University Health Systems.  He has a continuing interest in hemostasis in the research and clinical laboratories. His research is directed at the clinical applications of the laboratory in hemorrhagic and thrombotic conditions.
