Description of Research
Research activity consists predominantly of clinically based investigation. Major areas of
interest include correlation of hematopoietic disorders with chromosome aberrations;
correlation of chromosome aberrations with molecular DNA techniques; diagnosis of
malignancy and other disorders from body fluids with cytocentrifuged, Wright-stained
slides; and origin of myelodysplastic states vs. myeloproliferative disorders vs. acute
leukemia.
