RESEARCH INTEREST
Dr. Bryan is the Associate Medical Director of the Blood Bank at University Hospital and is the Medical Director of the five Outpatient Clinic Laboratories of the University Health System. General clinical research interests relate to the various divisions of the clinical laboratory. Specific ongoing blood bank interests include appropriate use of blood components, transfusion practices related to plasma use, long term preservation of platelets, and use of apheresis in various disease processes.
